Pensacola (2001/2002) 12'   Orchestra, spatialized brass, computer  AUDIO
First performed by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, with Jukka-Pekka Saraste.
Commissioned by the Toronto Symphony Orchestra with the support of the Canada Council for the Arts.  Subsequent performances by the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Winnipeg Symphony, and the Esprit Orchestra.

Commissioned by the BC Region of the Canadian Music Centre's New Music for Young Musicians Project (at the behest of Kathryn Cernauskas), and with the support of the British Columbia 2000 Millennium Arts and Heritage Fund.  First performed at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.

First performed by Klangforum Wien, with Sylvain Cambreling, conductor.  Musikprotokoll Festival, Graz, Austria.  Commissioned by the ORF (Austrian Radio) for Klangforum Wien.  Selected by an international jury for performance by Tokyo Ensemble Comet on the gala concert of the ISCM World Music Days, Japan.  Subsequently performed at the BONK Festival, Tampa, Florida.

First performed by the CBC Vancouver Radio Orchestra, with Owen Underhill.
Commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.  Subsequently performed by the Austrian Radio Philharmonic, with Arturo Tamayo, and the Kitchener-Waterloo Symphony Orchestra, with Daniel Warren.  Ranked third in the world (recommended work) at the 1997 International Rostrum of Composers (UNESCO, Paris).
